Andreas Kuechler unexpectedly died in 2001 at the age of 48 years. His works shine, but they are not bright. There's the sun, moon and stars; circles, lines, areas, arrows, letters, and word fragments. You can see houses, windows, faces. Also men and women, and clowns. Often a ship. The big and the small universe. The big and small issues. Depth, poetry and melancholy adhere to his works. An exploration, without searching and without finding. Unique and picturesque expression, that neither copies or ignores the genre. Timeless and touching.
